Heat Recovery
Save money! Don't send heated water down the drain! Since chemical reactions occur faster at higher temperatures, cleaning and rinsing applications typically involve heated water. Hot water will clean and rinse more effectively than cold water. Often incoming facilities water is heated (at significant cost!), run through a cleaning system, and then sent down the drain. Besides wasting water, this process is a tremendous waste of energy. Why not use thermal energy in drain-bound water to partially heat incoming process water? REsys offers systems, such as the HXS, that utilize a heat exchanger to capture valuable thermal energy and recycle that energy to heat incoming process water. A booster heater is available to provide additional energy to ensure consistent water temperature. The decision to use heat recovery is almost trivial in nature!
